I can’t believe how much I miss the fall colors!! The oranges and yellows were absolutely stunning for Amber & Dan’s 1000 Islands Engagement session in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. There was so much variety available at this location in such a short distance which gave their gallery a wide range of gorgeous scenery. Amber and Dan are right at home in the outdoors, after spending 8 years in Colorado exploring the beauty of nature with their two pups, they moved back home to start their forever. Their engagement session was filled with laughter and cuddling as we explored different areas of the park. You can feel the love radiating from Amber and Dan as they interact with each other. I had constant effortless smiles and unprompted romantic moments to capture.
A huge thank you to these two for showing me this hidden gem just down the road. I would love to return for another 1000 Islands Engagement session in the very near future. This location would be gorgeous year round! I always recommend to my couples to choose a location that reflects your love and your story. After spending time with Amber & Dan I could very quickly tell that 1000 Islands fit them to a ‘T’. They had no problem climbing through grass, over fallen trees, and even across some rocky paths to get to the best scenery the park has to offer. This is definitely a great spot for any of my outdoor enthusiasts looking for a fun little adventure wrapped up in their engagement session.
I can’t wait to see where Amber and Dan’s story takes them as we prepare for their big day! Keep an eye out next October for their wedding photos!
P.S. – Another great local park for engagement sessions is Fonferek Glen in East Green Bay!
