June 26, 2021 – Red Barn Pavilion
It was a rainy morning as Mackenzie and Carlton got ready for their wedding day in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. The rain cleared up in time for these two lovebirds to share a very special moment together during their first look. I always LOVE first looks because it gives you a chance to get out all of those wedding jitters and spend an intimate moment together with your soon-to-be spouse. On your wedding day there are so many people looking to congratulate you, hug you, and say hello, that it can be hard to grab a few minutes of quiet together. With a first look, you can have your chance to just hold each other and share a few words before all the guests arrive.
The sun came out in time for their ceremony out on the first tee of the golf course and it was so warm and beautiful. Their mother’s participated in their unity ceremony, braiding ropes to bring their family’s together and there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as they shared the vows they wrote for each other. After dinner, we were blessed with the most beautiful sunset where the bride and groom were able to spend a few more quiet minutes together as we took sunset photos.
