You know that saying that smiling can be contagious? Well, in the case of Cassidy and Cody’s wedding day, nothing could be more true. We were blessed with the perfect late spring day in Watertown, WI. Nothing was going to stand in the way of this happy couple enjoying their day. And when I say that smiling is contagious, I really do mean that. My face hurt from all the smiling, laughter, and love from their wedding day.
I love when a couple shares a special moment before the ceremony. Cassidy and Cody gave each other something to open before their wedding started. Cody wrote Cassidy a letter to read and Cassidy gifted Cody with an engraved watch and a letter. I always think those little extra touches mean so much. It’s an honor to capture those intimate moments right before the couples say ‘I Do.’
From their professions as safety workers, (Cody is a firefighter, Cassidy a nurse – thank you both!) to the contagious smiles, and even to Cassidy helping her father finish his speech when he became overjoyed and couldn’t continue on his own – Cassidy and Cody are incredibly sweet, caring, and loving people. I am so happy to have been a part of your big day and to witness the passion, friendships, and true love you two share for each other.
To Cassidy and Cody – many cheers and well wishes on your new life as a married couple. Congratulations!
