You know that feeling when you meet someone new and you instantly hit it off? Somehow, you feel like this person has been in your life forever and you can’t imagine how you made it this far without that person? Well, I imagine that’s how Brandi and Kevin must have felt after their first date. They were kicked out of a diner after closing – because they were conversing, laughing, and ultimately getting to know their respective life partner.

Brandi and Kevin’s love and companionship filled their wedding day. We all laughed at how impeccably smooth the day ran; due to Brandi’s planning and spreadsheets (which paid off). The day was filled with hay rides, playing with the farm animals, and special moments throughout.

From the moment I met Brandi and Kevin I knew that they were perfect for each other. They are both engineers, both very laid back, and clearly both so in love with one another. I adored that they chose to have their wedding rings matching… to me it feels like a symbol they share that proves they are a team, together forever.

One of my favorite moments to capture as a wedding photographer are the first looks. Bride and father, groom and mother, etc. But ultimately, my favorite is capturing the first look partners take of each other. Watching Brandi sneak up on Kevin, the anticipation growing on Kevin’s face and the joy growing on Brandi’s – it’s such a heartwarming moment. I cannot thank you both enough for allowing me to be part of your special day. Cheers to you and your lifetime of love – I hope you two continue to shut down diners together!
