April 22, 2023
April weddings are some of my absolute favorites. They’re usually the first of the season for me, and there’s always something extra exciting about starting the wedding season with spring in the air! Rebecca and Kyle’s Pamperin Park Wedding was absolutely to die for. The smell of the fresh blooms on their arch filled the ceremony space as friends and family filled the seats, waiting to hear these two say ‘I do’. The eucalyptus leaves and the champagne silk dresses were the perfect touch of elegance to a wedding in the park.
Rebecca and Kyle chose to do a first look, and took the opportunity to read their vows to each other in this private intimate moment. This is one of my new favorite things to do at weddings. It allows the bride and groom to more freely express themselves, and say things they may otherwise be uncomfortable saying in front of a large audience during the ceremony. As an added plus, your emotions come more freely in this moment and we can capture the memory so perfectly.
The most important thing to remember on your wedding day is to live in the moment with your partner. Watching Rebecca and Kyle throughout the day, it was so clear that these two were meant to be. Even when they were pulled to opposite sides of the room their eyes always found each other and the smiles were unmistakable. I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world and I look forward to seeing where life takes them.
